Shifting Consciousness: The repetitive nature of the "Hail Mary" acts as a rhythm of peace, quieting racing thoughts and allowing the Holy Spirit to "invade" a practitioner's consciousness. This process fosters a state of "heightened awareness" similar to deep mindfulness or contemplative prayer.

Purification of the Will: Regular practice is viewed as a "force multiplier" for sanctification, helping the soul shed the "false veneers" of worldly desires for wealth and status. This leads to an interior landscape where the soul is more aligned with God's will.
